Job summary

Lake Superior Community Health Center, Inc. is seeking an Operations Director to lead the development, design, operation and continuous improvement of clinic systems across LSCHC sites.

You will oversee medical, dental, behavioral health and Chiropractic operations while guiding performance improvement for a high-quality, low-risk patient environment. You may also serve as Clinic Manager for an assigned program and participate in senior leadership activities and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of health care environment and industry standards.
• Experience with practice management and EHR systems.
• Ability to organize work, delegate and achieve goals.
• Ability to analyze needs when designing and implementing programs and services.
• Skilled in teaching, coaching and guiding process changes.
• Able to prepare, analyze and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Develop operating support systems to optimize patient flow and provider productivity.
• Learn all programs comprehensively and align activities with organizational strategy.
• Ensure objectives are met through resource utilization, budgeting and process improvements.
• Communicate operational progress and issues to staff.
• Lead quality of clinical care and service excellence initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with other directors to maintain clinic policies and practices.
• Develop and maintain clinic policies and standard operating procedures.
• Supervise clinic managers and chiropractic support staff.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
