Job summary

Amberwell Health Hiawatha is seeking a Manager of Clinic Operations to oversee daily operations across multiple clinics including Eighth Street Clinic. The role ensures patient care standards, regulatory compliance, and efficient clinic performance.

You will lead staff development, coordinate with supervisors, and drive process improvements. Responsibilities include reporting on clinic statistics, leading monthly service line meetings, and ensuring staffing alignment with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum required experience in the clinic setting with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Preferred 2–5 years’ experience in a clinic leadership position.
• Education: high school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred in health care or business.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to daily operations of the clinics.
• Ensure standards of patient care through QA monitors with QA Coordinator.
• Meet regulatory standards of RHC and OSHA.
• Lead clinics toward Amberwell Health System strategic goals.
• Perform ongoing performance evaluations and staff development.
• Assist supervisors in standardizing processes across clinics.
• Ensure clinics comply with RHC standards and cost-effective programs.
• Identify problems and communicate solutions to leadership.
• Maintain open communication with other Clinic Operations Managers and the Executive Director of Clinic Operations.
• Lead staff meetings, huddles, and rounding across clinics.
• Support Clinic and Nurse managers with problem solving and process improvements.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and FTE levels at all clinics.
• Lead service line monthly meetings and report clinic statistics.
