Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a qualified leader to oversee the business and patient care functions of the assigned UCLA Health clinic. Reporting to the Regional Director, Assistant Director, and partnering with the Clinical Chief, this role will supervise the medical front and back-office staff and coordinate clinical services.

Provide daily administrative and operational oversight and physical space management. On-site or remote work options may be available; standard schedule is Monday–Friday,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated supervisory experience including recruitment, performance appraisal, expectations, discipline and training.
• Ability to analyze information to define objectives, identify patterns and alternatives.
• Proficient with a PC and software including MS Word and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse faculty, residents and staff.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to prepare accurate reports and memos with proper vocabulary and grammar.
• Knowledge of computerized appointment scheduling and registration systems and training staff.
• Understanding of major medical insurance plans.
• Ability to work occasional weekends or evenings as required.
• Preferred: familiarity with University/Hospital policies, CareConnect, nursing staff management, and budgeting.
