Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Clinic Coordinator to organize daily clinic operations, support providers, and enhance patient experience. The role may include scheduling appointments, procedures, and ensuring care is medically necessary.

You will train Medical Assistants, lead process improvements, and collaborate with clinic management to uphold safety, quality, and service. Experience as Medical Assistant and leadership required.

Qualifications

• Five years as a Senior/Advanced Medical Assistant.
• Two years of leadership experience in health care required.
• One year training experience preferred.
• Must have CMA/CCMA/RMA/NHA/AAMA certification and BLS certification.
• EPIC proficiency and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and prepare patients for visits.
• Organize daily clinic schedules and staffing coverage.
• Assist with triage, prescriptions, referrals, and patient education.
• Develop and improve clinic processes with management.
