Job summary

Insight, a Michigan medical practice, seeks an Office Manager to lead both clinical and clerical teams and oversee day-to-day operations to deliver superior patient experiences. You will foster a highly functional, engaged staff and assume risk management responsibilities for the practice.

The role emphasizes ensuring patient access, controlling overhead, and maintaining accurate HR, payroll, billing, and purchasing records while ensuring staff adherence to policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a HS diploma or GED with 3+ years of supervisory experience or a Bachelor's in Business or Health Services.
• Excellent computer skills and the ability to lead both clinical and clerical staff.
• Experience with medical billing practices and ICD-10/CPT knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient access to meet practice revenue/encounter and customer service targets.
• Maintain practice overhead to established financial target.
• Supervise, direct, and oversee responsibilities and duties of office staff to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Coordinate reporting, benchmarking, and data collection to support quality, service, risk, and costs.
• Support academic integration by incorporating learners into the practice environment.
• Maintain accurate records including HR, payroll, billing, purchasing; communicate changes to staff.
• Schedule staff and verify hours worked; approve overtime and payroll hours.
