Job summary

Ellie Mental Health in Massachusetts is seeking an Assistant Clinic Director to support the Clinic Director with operations, staffing, and administrative oversight while expanding access to quality mental health care.

You will supervise therapy staff, participate in weekly leadership meetings, and ensure compliant documentation in Valant and other systems, upholding our values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a master’s degree in a behavioral science field from an accredited college or university.
• On track to licensure in MA as LMHC or LICSW is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong boundaries with clients.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the weekly Clinic Director meeting.
• Participate in the weekly Clinic Manager meeting.
• Provide 1:1 consultation with all therapy staff to review productivity, caseload, and clinical documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues within Valant, Teams, Outlook, and billing.
• Review EHR service lines and complete Error Correction Form as needed.
• Monitor Clinic capacity and practice patterns by assisting in creation of Clinic Health Card.
• Support clinic staff development to ensure accurate use of Valant.
• Coordinate with the Clinic Director to support hiring processes, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Assist Clinic Director with monitoring and managing clinic office schedules.
• Provide timely response to concerns raised by clients, clinicians, or external stakeholders.
• Check clinic performance data weekly and assist Clinic Director with identifying opportunities to improve clinic functioning and quality of client care.
• Maintain agreed upon clinical client caseload.
