Job summary

OneWorld Community Health Centers, Inc. in Omaha, NE, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to organize and supervise day-to-day clinic operations at the Main Livestock Exchange Campus (LSX).

This full-time role ensures efficient, secure workflows and service delivery, reporting to the ADOO. The ideal candidate has a High School Equivalency (Bachelor’s preferred in Healthcare Administration or related field) and experience directing healthcare staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience directing employees in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to Analyze and solve problems.
• Prioritize and organize.
• Exhibit a high level of integrity, enthusiasm, interest, and desire to do the best possible job.
• Maintain basic operational knowledge about office machinery and software.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of an operations team across patient registration, patient experience phones, medical records, patient support, case management, satellite operations, enrollment and financial services, and support services.
• Manage multiple projects and initiatives, ensuring planning, data collection, deliverables, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders are completed on time and to spec.
• Assist the ADOO in developing, communicating, implementing, and ongoing assessment of clinic operations policies and procedures.
• Attend Operations Staff Meetings, assist in setting the agenda, document minutes, and ensure action items are followed.
• Assist patients in understanding OneWorld’s services and related agency offerings.
• Ensure staff keep accurate records in patient charts and databases.
• Provide direct supervision to support clinic compliance, quality, and performance improvement goals; identify workflow problems and recommend solutions.
• Manage clinic flow for smooth patient movement throughout the health center.
