Job summary

Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking an LPN to support clinic operations, assist physicians with procedures and minor surgeries, and provide patient education.

The role requires an active LPN license, an accredited degree, and may require ACLS/BLS; the clinic emphasizes coordinated care, documentation, and liaison with hospitals, nursing homes, pharmacies, HMOs, and other providers.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing (either AR license or multi-state license to include AR)
• Degree from an accredited institution.
• ACLS and BLS may be required, depending/based on the clinic

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with medical procedures and minor surgeries.
• Perform diagnostic tests, administer medications, and provide patient education in the clinic.
• Maintain equipment and ensure accurate and complete documentation.
• Serve as liaison between the physician and external agencies such as hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMOs, other physician's offices, and patients.

The Clinic LPN is responsible for patient preparation and assisting the physician with medical procedures and minor surgeries. In addition this role will perform various diagnostic tests, administer medications, and provide patient education in the clinic. The LPN maintains equipment and acts as a liaison between the physician and external agencies such as hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMO's, other physician's offices, and patients. The nurse supports other medical staff members to maintain efficient patient flow and ensures accurate and complete documentation.

This job will be authorized80.00 hours bi-weekly.
