Job summary

Arkadelphia Medical Clinic is seeking a Clinic Nurse LPN to support physicians, prepare patients, and assist with procedures in the day shift (8-5). The role emphasizes accurate charting, patient comfort, and teamwork to maintain efficient patient flow.

The LPN will perform diagnostic tests, administer medications, provide patient education, and serve as a liaison with hospitals, nursing homes, pharmacies, and other providers.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing (AR or multi-state including AR)
• Degree from an accredited institution.

Summary

The Clinic LPN is responsible for patient preparation and assisting the physician with medical procedures and minor surgeries. In addition this role will perform various diagnostic tests, administer medications, and provide patient education in the clinic. The LPN maintains equipment and acts as a liaison between the physician and external agencies such as hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMO's, other physician's offices, and patients. The nurse supports other medical staff members to maintain efficient patient flow and ensures accurate and complete documentation.
