Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking a Clinic Specialty Nurse to support physicians, perform diagnostic tests, and educate patients in the clinic environment.
The role includes coordinating with hospitals, nursing homes, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and continuity of care.
The Clinic Specialty Nurse prepares patients, assists the physician with procedures and minor surgeries, performs diagnostic tests, and provides patient education in the clinic. This role also involves equipment maintenance and serving as a liaison between the physician and external agencies, including hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMOs, other physician's offices, and the patient. Furthermore, the nurse supports other medical staff members as necessary to maintain efficient patient flow.
This job will be authorized80.00 hours bi-weekly.
