Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Practical Nurse for travel positions across clinic and remote settings. You will work under the supervision of an RN or physician, delivering essential nursing care to diverse patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics.

The role requires an active LPN/LVN license, CPR where applicable, and the ability to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse license in state where practicing.
• One year experience as an LPN/LVN in a clinic setting preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, provide care in remote or clinic settings for a specific population.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment under supervision of an RN or physician.
• Coordinate patient care with emphasis on safe, quality outcomes.
• Perform according to nursing standards and maintain accountability for patient safety.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LicensedPractical/Vocational Nurse works in a variety of remote or clinic settings toserve a specific population's health and/or wellness needs. These variety of sites include but are notlimited to community or employment immunization clinics, wellness clinics, jobsafety and workers compensation sites and travel health clinics from pediatricto geriatric age populations.

The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse demonstrates theability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner underthe supervision of an RN or Physician.The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse demonstrates critical thinkingand performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursingstandards and is accountable in providing safe, quality patient care.

• Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse License in statewhere they are practicing
• One year experience as an LPN/LVN in a clinic settingpreferred
