Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse for travel assignments in Long Term Care and Assisted Living facilities in Massachusetts. You will provide high-quality patient care, perform clinical assessments, and coordinate with the care team under supervision.

The role requires an active LPN license, BLS, health certificate, and the ability to complete required screenings. Travel between facilities is expected, with comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license for the state(s) of practice.
• Current health certificate if applicable.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS card.
• Successful completion of screening tests (≥80%).
• Successful completion of background screening.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in Long Term Care/Assisted Living facilities.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment with supervision and coordinate patient care.
• Assist in managing patient care and collaborating with the care team.

Job description

The Long Term Care LPN assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of care for patients in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS card
• Successful completion of screening tests for the clinical specialty area(s) in which the LPN practices with a score of 80% or greater
• Successful completion of Background Screening Process
