Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Clinic LPN in Washington, DC. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will work in a remote clinic site to deliver nursing care and coordinate patient services with sound clinical judgment.

The role prefers one year of LPN/LVN and clinic experience, CPR where applicable, and current health certifications. This is a contract - full time position with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse License is required.
• One year experience as an LPN/LVN preferred.
• One year experience in a clinic setting preferred.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate current per contract or state regulation.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LicensedPractical/Vocational Nurse – Clinic Site works in a remote clinic location toserve a specific population's nursing needs. The nurse demonstrates ability tomake clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision.The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordinationof patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and isaccountable in providing safe, quality patient care.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse License
• One year experience as an LPN/LVN preferred
• One year experience in a clinic setting preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
