Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to work in a variety of clinic settings in Oklahoma. Nurses will provide care under the supervision of RNs and physicians, handling immunization and wellness services across pediatric to geriatric populations.

Qualified candidates will hold an LPN/LVN license in the practicing state, have CPR if applicable, and meet health and regulatory requirements. Multiple contract options near El Reno, Guthrie and Hugo are available.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state where they are practicing.
• One year experience as an LPN/LVN in a clinic setting preferred.
• CPR if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, perform clinical tasks and coordinate patient care.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment and critical thinking in care delivery.
• Maintain nursing standards and ensure safe, quality patient care.

Job description

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LicensedPractical/Vocational Nurse works in a variety of remote or clinic settings toserve a specific population's health and/or wellness needs. These variety of sites include but are notlimited to community or employment immunization clinics, wellness clinics, jobsafety and workers compensation sites and travel health clinics from pediatricto geriatric age populations.

The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse demonstrates theability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner underthe supervision of an RN or Physician.The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse demonstrates critical thinkingand performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursingstandards and is accountable in providing safe, quality patient care.

• Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse License in statewhere they are practicing
• One year experience as an LPN/LVN in a clinic settingpreferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
