Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing in Anchorage, AK seeks a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse to work under supervision of a Registered Nurse. Travel between remote clinics and healthcare facilities to serve population health and wellness needs.

The role requires an active LPN/LVN license in the practicing state, CPR if applicable, and a health certificate. Prior clinic experience preferred; must meet federal/state regulations and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse License in state where they are practicing.
• One year experience as an LPN/LVN in a clinic setting preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Provide patient care under the supervision of an RN or Physician.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment and coordination of patient care.
• Maintain nursing standards and ensure safe, quality patient care.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LicensedPractical/Vocational Nurse works in a variety of remote or clinic settings toserve a specific population's health and/or wellness needs. These variety of sites include but are notlimited to community or employment immunization clinics, wellness clinics, jobsafety and workers compensation sites and travel health clinics from pediatricto geriatric age populations.

The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse demonstrates theability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner underthe supervision of an RN or Physician.The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse demonstrates critical thinkingand performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursingstandards and is accountable in providing safe, quality patient care.
