Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Psychiatric/LPN to apply the nursing process in the psychiatric unit of a hospital or behavioral health facility. Travel assignments across NH include Lebanon, Laconia, and Concord.

You must hold a current LPN license for the state of assignment and have or pursue psychiatric experience. The role requires clinical judgment under RN supervision, with competitive pay and weekly paychecks plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LPN license for the state of assignment.
• Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health care is preferred.
• Must comply with applicable professional standards of practice.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• Must meet federal, state, and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process and deliver patient care in psychiatric units.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment under RN supervision and with the care team.
• Provide care in hospital, mental health facility, or community settings.

Job description

The Psychiatric orMental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the applicationof the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unitof a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsiblefor care in community settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinicaljudgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of aRegistered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

• Current LPN license in state of assignment
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health caresetting preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
