Oak Street Health is seeking a Medical Scribe to support primary care providers with clinical documentation during patient visits and to generate accurate after-visit summaries. The role emphasizes real-time charting and close collaboration with the care team in a clinic setting.

Ideal candidates will have medical terminology knowledge, clinical experience, and strong typing while committing to 1 year in the role.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications (required)
• Clinical experience including shadowing/volunteering (strongly preferred)
• Scribe or transcription experience preferred

Aufgaben

• Document patient encounters in real time with structured notes (history, assessment, plan, exam)
• Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes and prepare After Visit Summaries
• Provide administrative support to the provider and care team
• Other duties as assigned
