The role emphasizes strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, confidentiality, and accurate data entry into the EHR while collecting copays and updating patient records. Full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three (3) months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality when dealing with patient information.
• Must possess a personal presence that conveys honesty, integrity and caring to promote the mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with a professional demeanor.
• Perform front-desk duties, manage patient flow and verify insurance eligibility.
• Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
• Schedule appointments per office guidelines.
• Collect copays and deductibles at time of service.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance data into the EHR and other systems.
