Job summary

TSAOG Orthopaedics & Spine is seeking a Full-Time Clinic Support role in San Antonio, TX. You will greet patients, verify and update information, process payments, and assist physician teams with scheduling and administrative tasks.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of clinical or customer service experience, strong computer skills, and a reliable, team-focused attitude to support efficient front-desk operations in a fast-paced outpatient clinic.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least one-year work experience in a clinical setting, or equivalent experience in a customer service role.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills. Familiarity with insurance benefits is a plus.
• Must be computer literate, with basic knowledge of MS Office products, and general office machines such as fax, copier, etc.
• Must have the ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced work environment, and demonstrate team cooperation.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner and provides instruction or directions.
• Updates patient information (insurance cards, driver’s license, authorizations, referrals).
• Administers tablets for completion of personal health information including privacy policies and financial policies.
• Collects co-payments, deductibles and outstanding balances such as out-of-pocket expenses.
• Give detailed explanation of benefits and financial agreements.
• Answers phones in a pleasant manner and deals with customer needs expeditiously.
• Schedules follow-up appointments as required by physician teams.
• Enters charges into computer system and prints necessary paperwork for next day clinic.
