Job summary

PrimeCare Health is seeking a Medical Receptionist in Chicago, IL to serve as the first point of contact for patients and manage clerical tasks for check-in and check-out. You will monitor appointments, support patient flow, and handle calls and scheduling with a focus on accuracy and service.

Qualified candidates have 2 years of medical office experience, familiarity with EMR systems, and strong communication skills. Bilingual abilities in English/Spanish or English/Polish are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of medical office experience preferred.
• Experience with an EMR and Microsoft Office products.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Polish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in the EMR and verify insurance information.
• Coordinate scheduling of patient appointments and referrals.
• Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Manage patient flow to minimize wait times and communicate delays.
