MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is part of the Medical University of South Carolina, serving patients across the rural health network in South Carolina. This on-site front desk position supports a physician clinic with scheduling, patient registration, telephone triage, billing, and referrals management to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient service.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent with healthcare exposure or related certificates, and are ready to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency with 1 year patient care experience.
• CNA, Nursing Assistant course, EMT or Paramedic certification, or Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments, register patients, telephone triage, medical records, billing, and collections. Coordinate daily clinic prep, patient check-in/out, charge posting, and cash management.
