Job summary

CHI Health Clinic's Florence Family Clinic in Omaha seeks an EMT to deliver compassionate, high-quality care. You will support a interdisciplinary team, performing essential assessments and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, prepping patients for providers, collecting specimens, administering medications or vaccines, and supporting workflows. A sign-on bonus for eligible new hires is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State-approved EMT training program graduate.
• Active State NE EMT License required.
• Active status on Nebraska Medication Aide Registry within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by completing intake duties such as obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reasons for visit.
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Pay Range
