Job summary

CHI Health Clinic in Omaha, NE, is seeking a Clinic EMT at Florence Family Clinic off N 30th St to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care and perform critical assessments within an interdisciplinary team.

You will collect vital signs, prep patients, obtain medications or vaccines, collect specimens, and support intake duties per clinic workflows. Sign‑on bonus available for eligible new hires; required NE EMT license and BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State-approved EMT training program graduate.
• Active State NE EMT License required.
• Active status on Nebraska Medication Aide Registry within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by completing intake duties such as obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reasons for visit.
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.
