Job summary

CHI Health Clinic in Omaha, NE is seeking a Clinic EMT in Family Medicine at our Maple Hills clinic off 101st & Maple. You will deliver compassionate, high-quality care, perform triage, obtain vitals, and prepare patients for providers as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, state-approved EMT training, NE EMT license, BLS, and Nebraska Medication Aide Registry eligibility within 90 days. Sign-on bonus offered.

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.

• Collects and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Presents ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Expectations

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by completing intake duties such as obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reasons for visit.
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Pay Range

$17.24 - $24.35 /hour
