CHI Health Clinic is seeking a Clinic EMT in Family Medicine at the Maple Hills clinic (101st & Maple) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care and perform vital assessments within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an approved EMT training program.
• Active Nebraska EMT license within hire timeframe.
• Active status on Nebraska Medication Aide Registry within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform general patient care following clinic workflows.
• Obtain and record vital signs and review medications and allergies.
• Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Provide ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Adhere to clinic policies and support team-based care.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinic EMT in Family Medicine located at our Maple Hills clinic off of 101st & Maple, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care and make critical assessments! You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes. To thrive in this vital role, you will possess keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset, driven by a profound enthusiasm to help others.

Expectations:

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by completing intake duties such as obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reasons for visit.
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Job Requirements

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• State-approved EMT training program graduate
• Active State NE EMT License required
• Active status on Nebraska Medication Aide Registry within 90 days of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
