Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth, MN is seeking a Clinic Care Technician to assist with daily patient flow across multiple Duluth locations. You will greet and room patients, take vitals, document in the EMR, and help with clerical duties to ensure smooth clinic operations.

The role supports providers and staff, coordinates scheduling, and may float to nearby clinics. Prior healthcare experience and BLS within 30 days are preferred; weekend shifts and day rotation are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or patient care scenarios.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Understanding of medical terminology and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Supports and assists providers and clinic staff with administrative and patient care tasks.
• Assists with patient scheduling and queue management.
• Follows up on no-shows and reviews add-ons with providers.
• Greets patients, supports virtual visits, verifies identity, and records vitals.
• Chaperones exams as needed and administers questionnaires.
• Handles mail, scans, copies, faxes, and orders office supplies.
