Job summary

Essentia Health – Virginia Clinic is seeking a Clinic Care Technician to support daily patient flow, greet and room patients, obtain vitals, and assist with clerical duties in a fast-paced clinic setting.

This casual day-shift role requires BLS within 30 days of hire, healthcare experience, and strong customer service. Responsibilities include data entry in EMR, scheduling support, and ensuring exam rooms are stocked and ready.

Qualifications

• Supports and assists providers and clinical staff with administrative and select patient care tasks
• Supports patient scheduling and work queue needs as assigned
• Follows up on no-shows and reviews add-ons with providers
• Greets patients, supports virtual visits, verifies identity, obtains vitals
• May perform limited patient care tasks based on training
• Processes mail, scans, copies, faxes, prints and updates forms; handles office supplies

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with rooming and vitals documentation
• Support clinic flow and patient scheduling as needed
• Maintain exam room readiness and stock supplies
• Enter data in the electronic medical record system
• Assist with clerical duties and general office tasks
