Job summary

MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children on the autism spectrum in our Southeast Michigan clinics. You will work under a supervising BCBA, using play-based strategies to promote communication, social skills, and daily living independence.

No prior experience required beyond a passion for helping kids; we offer hands-on training, RBT certification support, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience working with individuals with ASD or developmental disorders preferred but not required.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to upholding the RBT Ethics Code.
• Ability to pass a background check and occupational health screening.

Responsibilities

• Support Children Through Personalized Play Therapy - Use evidence-based ABA techniques to help children learn essential life skills.
• Promote Positive Behavioral Growth - Implement interventions to reduce challenging behaviors and create a structured, supportive learning environment.
• Track and Drive Progress - Collect behavioral data to measure success and adjust strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with Families - Work closely with parents to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies across home, school, and community settings.
• Bring Treatment Plans to Life - Implement BCBA-designed treatment plans with precision and care.
• Maintain Clear Communication - Regularly report progress to the supervising BCBA and collaborate on strategies for optimal outcomes.
