Job summary

MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 play-based ABA therapy for children on the autism spectrum. You’ll use evidence-based strategies to build communication, social skills, and independence in daily activities.

This role offers part-time hours with potential to grow to full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, in neighborhood therapy centers across Southeast Michigan.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience working with individuals with ASD or developmental disorders preferred but not required.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to upholding the RBT Ethics Code.
• Ability to pass a background check and occupational health screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 play-based ABA therapy to develop communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement evidence-based ABA techniques through structured interventions.
• Track behavioral data and adjust strategies.
• Collaborate with families to ensure consistency across home, school, and community settings.
• Bring treatment plans to life by implementing BCBA-designed plans.
• Maintain clear communication and report progress to supervising BCBA.
