Job summary

MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy in Bloomfield Hills, MI, is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy for children on the autism spectrum. You will implement BCBA-designed plans, collect data, and work closely with families to ensure consistency across home, school, and community settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience with ASD preferred but not required.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to upholding the RBT Ethics Code.
• Ability to pass a background check and occupational health screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 play-based ABA therapy to help children develop communication, social interaction, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based ABA techniques and positive reinforcement.
• Track progress with data collection to adjust strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with families to ensure consistency across home, school, and community settings.
• Bring treatment plans to life by implementing BCBA-designed plans with precision.
• Maintain clear communication by reporting progress to the supervising BCBA.
