Job summary

MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy in Waterford, MI is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 play-based ABA therapy for children on the autism spectrum. You will implement evidence-based techniques to support communication, social skills, and daily living tasks in a clinic setting.

No experience required, training provided including RBT certification with a paid $1 raise upon certification. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8am–5pm, with comprehensive benefits and 17 Michigan

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience working with individuals with ASD or developmental disorders preferred but not required.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to upholding the RBT Ethics Code.
• Ability to pass a background check and occupational health screening.

Responsibilities

• Support Children Through Personalized Play Therapy – Use evidence-based ABA techniques to help children learn essential life skills.
• Promote Positive Behavioral Growth – Implement interventions to reduce challenging behaviors and create a structured, supportive learning environment.
• Track and Drive Progress – Collect behavioral data to measure success and adjust strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with Families – Work closely with parents to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies across home, school, and community settings.
• Bring Treatment Plans to Life – Implement BCBA-designed treatment plans with precision and care.
• Maintain Clear Communication – Regularly report progress to the supervising BCBA and collaborate on strategies for optimal outcomes.
