Job summary

Golden Steps ABA in Mesa, AZ is hiring an RBT to provide 1:1 ABA therapy for ages 2–21 in-clinic. You’ll implement behavior plans, collect data, and collaborate with BCBA supervision (at least 10% of services).

The role emphasizes growth, ongoing mentorship, and opportunities for professional development within a supportive, employee-centric company. Must have a High School Diploma, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication
• Willing to have a background check.
• Must have a reliable car and driver’s license for commuting to and from the clinic.
• Must possess a High School Degree
• Experience in roles such as nanny, teacher, or paraprofessional can help transition into the RBT role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with Autism in the clinic.
• Implement behavioral intervention and individualized treatment plans for children aged 2–21.
• Participate in BCBA trainings, team meetings, client observations and parent training as needed.
• Maintain open communication with BCBA and RBT team regarding treatment delivery.
• Receive supervision from your BCBA at a minimum of 10% of services provided.
• Maintain professional boundaries around child patients and other RBTs in the clinic.
• Enter data and trials daily for each pediatric patient across programs.
• Remain available for supervision sessions, calls, and meetings as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
