You will handle demographic and financial data, manage co-pays and co-insurance, verify coverage, obtain authorizations, and support front desk colleagues in a fast-paced outpatient clinic.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Proficiency with EMR and scheduling software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register and pre-register patients with demographic and financial data.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations.
• Manage daily appointment schedules and reminders.
• Collect and reconcile co-pays and handle patient inquiries.
• Scan and upload documents into the EMR.
