Touchstone Climbing is hiring a Shift Supervisor for its new Bay Area gym, Aisle 19 in San Francisco. Lead front desk operations, handle memberships, and elevate customer service. You’ll coordinate events, training, social media, and safety while guiding a team of coaches and staff.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to teach and engage groups of varying ages and abilities.
• Attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Comfort with computers and POS systems.
• Knowledge of climbing techniques.
• CPR/First Aid certified or willingness to obtain (training provided).
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended shifts.
• Available regularly during peak hours with the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead front desk duties and coach staff by example.
• Manage complex memberships and inquiries, report issues.
• Oversee front of house operations and events.
• Coordinate social media, incident reporting, and facilities needs.
• Train staff and conduct assessments; ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Support climbing classes, bookings, and youth programs.
• Attend management check-ins and participate in hiring.
