Job summary
Touchstone Climbing Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic Front Desk Staff member for our San Francisco location. You will be the welcoming face of the gym, handling check-ins, waivers, memberships, and inquiries, while promoting a positive and inclusive climbing community.
The role offers both part-time (up to 30 hours/week) and full-time (30+ hours/week) schedules, with starting pay of $20.00/hour. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and free gym membership for employees and a +1, plus flexible
Qualifications
- Experience in customer-facing roles or office management is a plus.
- Commitment to safety and climbing terminology knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, check waivers, and enforce gym policies.
- Answer calls and emails; manage front desk communications.
- Process memberships and online transactions; manage reservations.
- Sell merchandise and climbing gear in the retail shop.
- Maintain a clean, safe gym environment and support team needs.
