Gravity Vault Princeton in Plainsboro, NJ is seeking an experienced Climbing Gym Manager to oversee daily operations, lead staff with a focus on customer service, safety, and youth programming. Reporting to the General Manager, you will coordinate with the route setting team and ensure a welcoming community.

The role requires supervisory experience in a climbing gym, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with Approach POS.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory or management within a commercial climbing gym.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven leadership and staff management capabilities.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Experience leading youth climbing programs (classes, teams, camps, parties).
• Proficiency with Approach POS and gym management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations including inventory and POS operations.
• Lead, train, and schedule staff to ensure high service standards.
• Coordinate with Head Routesetter on setting schedules and safety protocols.
• Direct youth and adult climbing programming (classes, teams, camps, parties).
• Enforce safety protocols, equipment inspections, and staff certifications.
• Serve as primary operational contact for members, staff, and vendors.
