Job summary

Central Rock Gym is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the location General Manager and run daily operations of the gym, including staffing, memberships, programs, events, payroll, retail, and facility maintenance. You will lead by example to create a fun, inclusive environment and deliver an outstanding CRG community experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule with availability on mornings, evenings and holidays.
• Minimum 2+ years climbing experience required.
• Ability to take initiative and lead a team with attention to detail.
• CPR/First aid certification preferred; CWI/AMGA or similar highly desired.
• Outgoing, energetic and approachable leadership style; strong communication.
• Experience using Google Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily gym operations alongside the General Manager.
• Staffing, payroll, memberships, programs and events management.
• Manage retail and rental gear inventory and stock levels.
• Plan and execute location- and brand-wide events and member nights.
• Maintain facilities, safety standards and incident reporting.
• Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests.
• Collaborate with corporate staff on policy implementation and improvements.
• Train and develop staff to ensure knowledgeable, courteous service.
• Monitor operations to ensure a welcoming environment.
