The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a dynamic Climbing Arborist Trainee in Milwaukee, WI. You will work outdoors as part of a tree crew, starting with learning to climb, pruning, and performing safe removal services. You will gain hands-on experience with industry pruning guidelines, equipment operation, and safety protocols.

The role offers opportunities for advancement and training. Ideal candidates love the outdoors; forestry, horticulture, or landscaping background is preferred.

Competenze

• Love of the outdoors
• Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights (preferred)
• Ability to complete Davey Tree Orientation Program upon hire
• Ability to complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
• Relevant pesticides licenses/certificates (preferred by state law)

Mansioni

• Trim and prune trees to improve health and safety of trees and surroundings
• Learn climbing as part of a tree crew and progressively acquire new skills
• Perform pruning/removal tasks using industry guidelines and safe practices
• Assist in installing cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment (chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts)
