Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Climate Solutions Sales Rep in Melbourne, FL. You will be the voice and first contact for gain clients, applying consultative sales to understand needs and convert them into loyal customers across climate solutions equipment and services.

You must be ambitious and outgoing, comfortable calling on customers, building relationships, negotiating contracts, and delivering equipment installation and training as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2 years' sales experience in small A/C and heating rentals and related services preferred.
• Ability to progress the entire sales process in person or over the telephone.
• Capable of negotiating individual transactions and contracts directly with the customer.
• Mechanically inclined and able to learn technical features of Climate Solutions equipment to provide specialized solutions.
• Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) or other CRM a plus.
• Available for on-call rotation to provide after-hours service and response.
• Willingness to provide equipment delivery, installation, and customer training.
• Attention to detail with regard to sales technology tools and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds and safely operate a forklift, lift gate and box truck.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the climate solutions sales process from initial contact to close.
• Build relationships with customers and identify equipment and service opportunities.
• Coordinate equipment delivery, installation and training as needed.
