Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Vertical Sales Rep for Climate Solutions to be the voice and initial contact for our industry-leading company. You will use consultative skills to understand customer needs and translate them into loyal customers while selling equipment and services.

The role requires ambition and outgoing nature, with a passion for calling on customers, building relationships, and driving equipment solution sales in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2 years' sales experience in small A/C and heating rentals and related services strongly preferred.
• Ability to progress the entire sales process in person or over the telephone.
• Capable of negotiating individual transactions and contracts directly with the customer.
• Mechanically inclined and able to learn the technical features of Climate Solutions equipment to provide specialized solutions.
• Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) or other CRM a plus.
• Available for on-call rotation to provide after hour service and response.
• Willingness to provide equipment delivery, installation, and customer product training.
• Attention to detail with regard to the sales technology tools and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds and safely operate a forklift, lift gate and box truck.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is a must.
