Job summary

Northern Trust Corp is seeking a Client Trade Consultant to ensure accurate receipt, validation and normalization of client trade intent into actionable Portfolio Management activity daily.

Based in the United States, this role sits within the Investment Administration team of the Asset Management Middle Office, handling high-volume, time- and risk-sensitive fund orders across Fixed Income, Equity and Money Market products. Strong communication with clients is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in operational or client servicing background.
• Knowledge of institutional trust operations and accounting systems is advantageous.
• Analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills are needed to resolve account issues.

Responsibilities

• Accurate interpretation and execution of client cash flow and trades for unregistered Fund and Separately Managed Account products.
• Coordination of trade administration for complex investment management clients.
• Management of service requests from clients and partners, handles inquiry resolution and ensures documentation is up to date.
• Acts as servicing and technical resource for clients and internal partners, guiding on complex issues.
