Northern Trust in Chicago is seeking a Client Trade Consultant to ensure accurate receipt, validation and normalization of client trade intent, supporting Portfolio Management daily in the Investment Administration unit of the Asset Management Middle Office.

The role handles high-volume, time- and risk-sensitive fund orders across Fixed Income, Equity and Money Market products, emphasizing operational detail, client communication and process improvements.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years' experience in operational or client servicing background, or within an institutional trust environment.
• Knowledge of institutional trust operations and accounting systems usually acquired through related experience is necessary to administer complex master trust and custody accounts.
• Experience in fund operations, recordkeeper activity and client-facing operations.
• Analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills are required to identify and resolve account issues.

Aufgaben

• Accurate interpretation and execution of client cash flows and trades for funds and SMA products.
• Coordinate trade administration for complex investment clients.
• Manage service requests, daily client activity, and documentation up to date.
• Servicing and technical resource for clients and internal partners, guiding on complex issues.
• Anticipates client needs for service requests and integrates knowledge to service clients.
• Identifies service efficiency enhancements and process improvements to improve delivery.
• Monitors operations and accounting activities to ensure reports and tickets are processed for client services.
• Communicates with clients regularly to inform them of trade status and required documents.
