Global Technical Talent, Inc. is seeking a Client Technician Specialist for an onsite contract assignment in Augusta, ME. The role focuses on supporting new users, setting up equipment, and maintaining an inventory log to ensure smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong customer service and desktop support skills, plus inventory control experience. Local travel within Augusta is required, with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Desktop support experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory control and asset tracking.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and assist with the New User Workshop that is held weekly for new users.
• Equipment set up (Laptops, docking stations, monitors, etc.).
• Maintain inventory log.
• Proactively assist end users with simple desktop support.
• Ensure that all work is documented for future reference.
• Follow quality standards.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills; both written and spoken.
• Provide accurate and complete answers to general use and environment questions in a timely manner.
• Provide desktop computer support.
• Attend and participate in bi-weekly team and problem review meetings.
• Manage the retirement and disposal of obsolete computer equipment.
• Must complete other SPEC I duties as assigned.

Client Technician Specialist

Location: Augusta, ME

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract


• Pay Rate: $27.00–$30.00 / Hour (USD)


• Travel Requirements: This position requires routine travel within 5 miles of Augusta. Individual will utilize their own vehicle when traveling between office locations in the Augusta area. Mileage expenses will be reimbursed when utilizing their own vehicle.


• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
