Job summary

Quanex in Richmond, IN is seeking a Client Tech Analyst to join the Regional IT Support team. You will provide hands-on technical support across office and manufacturing environments, manage hardware and software, and own the Help Desk ticket process.

The role requires a strong problem-solving mindset, collaboration with internal teams and external providers, and occasional travel to other Quanex locations with on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 5 to 8 years of IT support experience with desktop software and hardware.
• Experience working in manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support across office and manufacturing environments.
• Take ownership of Help Desk requests and ticket management.
• Support a variety of hardware, software, and network technologies.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external service providers.
• Travel to other Quanex locations and on-call support (approx. 20%).
