Job summary

Quanex Building Products Corp. in Richmond, IN, is seeking a Client Tech Analyst to join the Regional IT Support team.

You will provide hands-on technical support across office and manufacturing environments, manage hardware, software, and network-related issues, and ensure IT policies and SOX GCC controls are followed. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field and 5–8 years of IT support experience, preferably in manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
5 to 8 years of IT support experience with desktop software, hardware products, and troubleshooting.
Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide Help Desk support and manage ticket queues.
Support office and manufacturing environments with hardware, software, and network issues.
Collaborate with internal IT teams and external service providers.
Travel to multiple Quanex locations (~20%) and participate in on-call support.
Adhere to IT policies, procedures, and SOX GCC controls.
