Job summary

Barrett Distribution Centers is seeking a Client Support Specialist to provide outstanding service by listening carefully and communicating professionally to identify root causes of issues and ensure timely resolution. This full-time role runs 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, in Maryland.

You will manage paperwork, invoicing, order fulfillment, and customer communications while meeting SLAs and compliance. Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office, plus strong English, is required; bilingual

Qualifications

• Two years of college required; two years of business experience preferred.
• Experience in customer service, needs assessment, and satisfaction evaluation.
• Knowledge of routing, carriers, and compliance preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and warehouse management systems helpful.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to balance priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned customers, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Process inbound/outbound paperwork, data entry, and reconciliations accurately.
• Invoice customers promptly for all billing types and maintain billing files.
• Monitor order fulfillment end-to-end across warehouse and customer touchpoints.
• Ensure SLAs and compliance by routing orders and scheduling carriers as needed.
• Review NCRs in Salesforce and resolve discrepancies in records.
• Participate in onboarding of new customers and process improvement reviews.
• Maintain and update work instructions and customer-facing communications.
