Job summary

You will book loads, assign shipment details to drivers, schedule pickups and deliveries, and track shipments to resolve issues while maintaining accurate data. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; proficiency will be tested.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with accurate data entry skills.
• Experience with scheduling and handling shipments.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers internally and externally.
• Book loads and enter orders from customers.
• Assign shipment details to shipments so they can be assigned to drivers.
• Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments for outbound shipments.
• Track and trace shipments; monitor freight in transit and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Heavy data entry and reporting; compile spreadsheet reports.
• Cross-reference driver bills of lading for accurate documentation and payroll.
• Research proofs of delivery.
