Sotheby’s Financial Services is seeking an Associate in the Client Success team to support underwriting, portfolio management, and collateral oversight for the U.S. managed SFS portfolio.

You will conduct loan underwriting, analyze collateral, and prepare materials for credit approval while collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure sound credit execution. The role emphasizes thorough diligence, timely deal execution, and ongoing servicing to optimize risk-adjusted returns

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in client-facing financial services or auction-house settings.
• Experience in the art market, automotive industry, or related institution is preferred.
• Organized, reliable, and able to work well in a small team.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with ability to evaluate complex data.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting: assess borrower, collateral, and risks; prepare credit memos; coordinate diligence per SFS policy.
• Deal Management: monitor portfolio, drive renewals, and handle multiple transactions.
• Collateral Management: track collateral, coordinate with warehouses, insurers, and stakeholders; maintain status reports.
