Job summary

Sotheby's Financial Services seeks an Associate within the Client Success team in New York to support underwriting and ongoing management of the U.S. managed SFS portfolio.

You will conduct loan underwriting, analyze credit, prepare materials for approvals, and coordinate collateral management across the portfolio. You will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure sound credit execution, portfolio management, and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in a client-facing role within financial services or auction house.
• Experience in the art market, automotive industry, or related institution is preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to evaluate complex financial information.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting: assess borrower and collateral risks and prepare credit memos.
• Deal management: monitor portfolio and coordinate approvals and renewals.
• Collateral management: track collateral and liaise with insurers and stakeholders.
• Client service: collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure credit execution.
