Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking a Client Specialist on the Business Insurance team to service and retain an existing book of business, market accounts for renewal pricing, and prepare policies for delivery.

The role requires at least 2 years of commercial insurance knowledge, excellent communication, and strong time management. We offer hybrid work, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within MMA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years knowledge of the commercial insurance industry, laws, products, coverage, and markets.
• Extensive knowledge of insurance company markets and conditions, binding authority, procedures and underwriting guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively service customers.
• Be a self‑starter and problem solver with good time management skills, the ability to be organized and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Service and retain an existing book of business and assist with marketing and placement of new and renewal accounts.
• Review and process policies and issue certificates of insurance after reviewing contracts.
• Use carrier websites to obtain online quotes for clients and create proposals.
• Prepare policies for delivery and perform day‑to‑day tasks as directed by the department manager.
